Register for and complete the CLARITY Direct Neurofeedback™ therapy online training course. Complete 10 hours of virtual supervision. Pass a written exam. Pass a practice session exam with a Senior Neurofeedback Practitioner.  After passing all exams, you will be awarded a “Certificate of Completion”. This indicates you have been trained in the fundamentals of CLARITY and are certified to administer sessions using the technology.

The pre-qualifications to start offering CLARITY Direct Neurofeedback™ therapy are a license in your profession, your professional “people skills”, and the ability to think like a clinician in your particular field.  A pre-existing medical degree or training in neuroscience is not required.  It can be helpful to have some understanding of the nervous system, though this knowledge is covered as you train in CLARITY. 

A concussion is when a hit to the body makes the head and brain move rapidly back and forth. Concussions can cause chemical changes in the brain, triggering depression, loss of memory, Clarity Direct Neurofeedback™ can help the brain chemistry rebalance.

A typical session lasts half an hour. After taking a follow up history of events since the last session, the clinician cleans skin on the scalp. Small sensors are applied. The CLARITY Direct Neurofeedback™ software works with an EEG amplifier to send an ultra-low signal to the outer tissues of the brain, allowing the brain to adjust itself with no conscious effort on the patient’s part. The ability for the patient to remain passive increases compliance across ages.  CLARITY can cause a positive response in one to three sessions, and requires a limited number of sessions to complete the protocol.  CDN cannot take away the challenges of life, but can build resiliency and create a better functioning brain. 

You will be awarded a “Certificate of Completion”. This indicates you have been trained in the fundamentals of CLARITY Direct Neurofeedback™ therapy and are certified to administer sessions using the technology. This certification is not officially “recognized” by any licensing body or official organization. It is on your wall to give assurance to patients you have proper training to use the CLARITY system. The relevant certificate in the neurofeedback field is from the BCIA (Biofeedback Certification International Alliance). BCIA training has several courses of didactic study and then formal testing. It is a voluntary certification and not required to become certified in CLARITY.
